Kwayaciiwin is pleased to announce a meeting with Indigenous Services Canada to discuss First Nations education on June 26 & 27, 2019 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario.

First Nation community and school leadership, as well as key education partners, are invited to learn more about the transformation to on-reserve education and the Regional Education Agreement process. During this meeting, we will be exploring these issues and co-developing an outline of next steps requiring action to create a First Nation-driven education system.

Kwayaciiwin is committed to ensuring that the education transformation process is community-driven and involves input from all stakeholders. It will be an opportunity to have your questions and concerns addressed and to work together to ensure that we are creating a system that best serves the children in your communities.

For more information, see the attached invite letter below. Invited participants are encouraged to register by June 20.
