2020 Summer Institute to be held online

Updated: Aug 25, 2020

Because it's 2020, we are taking a different approach to this years Summer Institute for educators working with First Nations. Normally, we would all gather in Sioux Lookout. Last year, we took it outside under the big tent. This year, it'll be a fully online virtual experience through Zoom and teleconference.

For four days, from Aug. 31 to Sept. 3, this years event promises sneak peaks at new products and resources, and will cover topics such as Google Classroom, technology in the classroom, digital storytelling, IEP and Dadavan, language circles, as well as sessions with Connected North, Anderson Speech Therapy Services and KERC staff.

Usually, this event is open to educators in the communities we work with, but because it'll be online, anyone from anywhere may join in!
