Kasabonika has a weekly radio show that highlights school activities and events. Teachers from Simeon McKay Education Centre take turns preparing a local "School Hour" where they share information about school events.Students can be interviewed and talk about special events in their classes.Ideas for parents (reading, patterning, etc.) can be shared. Recordings made by students could be played (songs, readings, etc.) Teachers new to the community could be interviewed. The community can be informed about fund-raising events, school goals, etc. There is no limit to how this GREAT IDEA could be used!
