Alpheus tells a legend of the animals with this one involving the beaver.
Beaver and Rabbit
Once long ago, there was fat made and the beaver went into the fat. His stomach and his back were submerged and only his hand and head were above the liquid. This is why the Beaver is fat on his stomach and back. The Rabbit came running to get the fat. He was told not to go into the fat. He applied some of the fat only on his shoulders and on his sides. That is why the rabbit has some fat on his sides and shoulders.
